Workshop in honour of Robert Sugden jointly organized by University of NAPLES, University of Milan Bicocca, EconomETICA, Heirs, Irec
CALL FOR PAPERS
On the occasion of Robert Sugden sixtieth birthday, some of his present and former students have organized a workshop, to be held in Naples on the 7th of may 2010, given Bob Sugden's link with many young Italian scholars and the Neapolitan school of civil economy. The aim of the workshop is that of discussing with him some of the issues he has investigated through a combination of theoretical, experimental, historical and philosophical methods.
Papers are invited in any of the following fields:
- welfare economics and happiness
- social choice
- social interactions and relational goods
- choice under uncertainty
- the foundations of decision and game theory
- the methodology of economics
- the evolution of social conventions
- cooperation, fraternity and we thinking
- the origins of classical political and civil economy
Submission Requirement:
A one-page abstract (less than 200 words) to be e-mailed before February 28, 2010. Authors are informed of acceptance by 15th March 2010. Papers should be sent in PDF no later than April, 15.
