History of Economics Society - Call for Nominations

The 2010 Nominating Committee for the History of Economics Society calls for nominations for the positions of President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and 2 Executive Committee members. For descriptions of the positions and the duties they entail, please see the Society's Constitution:

The Nominating Committee will make recommendations to the Executive Committee for consideration at their winter meeting at the ASSA meetings in Denver in January 2011. The Executive Committee will select a ballot to be distributed in spring 2011. Those elected will begin serving their terms at the annual meeting at Notre Dame University in June 2011. The HES Nominating Committee is composed of the Past President who has just left the Executive Committee (who serves as Chair) and two other members appointed by the President. The members of the Committee for 2010-11 are Sandra Peart (chair), Neil Skaggs, and Annie Cot.
The deadline for nominations is 31 October 2010. Nominations should include a short statement in support of the candidate and should be sent to the chair at: speart@richmond.edu.
