PhD in Economics in the history and/or philosophy of economics at City University London from October 2010.
Students will be able to apply for a University Research Studentship worth nearly £15K per year and full remission of fees (http://city.ac.uk/research/resdegrees/studentships.html). Unsuccessful applicants may apply for a Departmental bursary. The applicant will need to be interested in completing a thesis in the area of the history and/or the philosophy of economics, and will have some overlap areas of the methodology of orthodox and heterodox schools of thought in economics, social ontology, reductionism and holism. The deadline for the University Research Studentship is Monday 25 January 2010.
