2009 HOPE Conference
Economics and the Other Social Sciences since 1945
May 1 & 2, 2009
Duke University, Durham, North Carolina
The conference is one of a series of annual conferences that, starting in 1989, have been held each spring on a particular topic in the history of political economy. The conferences are organized by the journal, History of Political Economy, with the continuing financial support of Duke University Press.
HOPE conferences are small and generally invitation-only events. However, a small number of places may be open for additional participants. Please contact one of the organizers for further information.
This year's conference will be Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, 2009. The meetings will be held in the Rhodes Conference Room, which is room 223 in the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy, located at 240 Science Drive on the Duke University campus. Conference participants will be lodged in the nearby Washington Duke Inn. Both are on the campus of Duke University.
